2. Ilk’s "Dot on a Walk" collection
celebrated the age-old technique of Pointillism, a concept derived from
the Art Movement, using dots in various colours forming a variety of
other structures and figures. Rib paneling settling on cukoon coats and
saris, floral embroideries, apron-inspired silhouettes, world map
embroideries using beads to create illusions of pixelation of the
drapes. Choice of colours as blackish blue and tomato red were right on
point.
